Malwarebytes is an antivirus scans  and removes malicious software, including Malware, Adware, and Spyware. The best part of this Free 14 Day Premium Trial is it gave me access to all available Protection in the app. 








It has two Scan Options

  • Quick Scan. Checks areas most likely to be infected including your Startup and Memory.
  • Custom Scan. It allows you to set the areas to be scanned. 
     I did a custom scan on one of my drives and it took a whopping 3 hours and 45 minutes to be fully scanned. 




There is also a Scan Scheduler that you can use to automatically scan your device. When it missed the time you put, it automatically scans at the next available opportunity. 



One of the features of Malwarebytes is the Web Protection. It will instantly block the connection to the site that it deemed harmful. I like this feature because pop-up sites are annoying.





The Premium Version automatically updates the app and notifies you when there is an available one to download. It also has a Threat Intelligence update. You can change the frequency of updates to any interval between 15 minutes and 14 days.




Malwarebytes also shows the total number of malicious programs and sites that it blocked. You can see all of it by category by just clicking the right arrow beside the number. You can also see the Global Statistics. 

 I enjoy using Malwarebytes even though it takes some of my memory.

Overall the Premium version offers strong protection against malwares and viruses. The core of of the Premium is the Real-Time Protection. Without it you will not certainly be protected. I have enjoyed using Malwarebytes because it gave me the protection I needed and it is easy to use.
